my experience

I specialise in culture, architecture and design and the non-profit sector, with a particular interest in socially-engaged work.

I’m used to working in different ways to give my clients the support that best suits them - that might mean collaborating on a specific project, or working together more long term to shape and deliver on communications across the board.

My current and recent clients include esea contemporary, Emil Eve Architects, Art Fund, muf architecture / art, We are here Venice, the Glasgow International Comedy Festival, people make it work, Heroes of the Fringe, the Scottish Comedy Agency, Battersea Arts Centre, Sky Arts, V&A, and 100% Design.

Before setting up as an independent consultant in 2016, I was the Press + PR Manager at the Design Museum, and previous to that worked in the press office of Royal Museums Greenwich and at the TV, radio and live production agency Avalon.

I am one of the organisers of Culture Comms, a non-profit conference for communications professionals in the cultural sector.

I live and work between Donegal, Belfast, Glasgow and London, and alongside my communications and coaching work practice as a qualified counsellor.
